Preparation time for this kit is estimated at 1.5 hours. Implementation and actual training time is 3.0 hours, which includes 2 hours of Face-to-Face Training and 1 hour of Independent Study and an Applied Activity Project. An optional Bonus Activity can add up to 1 hour to the training time.


Training Outcomes:

By the end of this training, Learners will be able to:
  1. explain the value of outdoor play and the ways children’s confidence can be developed on the playground.
  2. evaluate their current playground according to criteria in the article.
  3. develop a plan to improve their playground using information from the article.
