MEET US AT NAEYC

This year we have dedicated our time at NAEYC to meet you. Come by the Child Care Information Exchange booth (#2233) in the Exhibit Hall to tell us what you are doing and what you think we should be doing.  Exchange editor, Bonnie Neugebauer, and publisher, Roger Neugebauer, will be in the booth much of the time, and many Exchange writers and World Forum team members will be hanging out in the booth from time to time eager to meet you. In addition we invite you to participate in the following scheduled activities (check the NAEYC program for presentation locations):

Wednesday, November 5
* 1:00 to 3:00 pm:  Kay Albrecht in the Exchange booth showcasing the new Exchange product, "Out of the Box Training."

* 1:00 to 4:00 pm: Roger Neugebauer presents on a panel on "Writing for Publication".

* 1:00 to 4:00 pm: Diane Trister Dodge presents on "Literacy All Day, Every Day".


Thursday, November 6
* 8:30 to 10:30 am: Margie Carter and Deb Curtis present on "Transforming Early Childhood Environments." 

* 11:00 am to 12:00 pm:  Focus group on supporting parents led by Karen Stephens in the Exchange booth. **

* 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Janet Gonzalez-Mena presents on "Bridging Cultures in Early Care and Education Programs."

* 11:00 am to 1:00 pm: Kay Albrecht presents on "Recruiting, Selecting, and Orienting Staff."

*  3:00 to 5:00 pm: Karen King will be in the Exchange booth talking about the World Forum.

* 3:00 to 4:00 pm: Focus group on supporting faculty and trainers led by Chip Donohue in the Exchange booth. **

* 4:00 to 5:00 pm: Susan Aronson, MD presents on "National Health and Safety Performance Standards."

Friday, November 7
* 10:00 to 11:00 am: Kevin Carnes presents on "Preschool Science: A Fun and Exciting Introduction."

* 11:30 am to 12:30 pm: Chip Donohue and Roger Neugebauer present on "Innovations in e-learning."

* 7:00 to 9:00 pm: Get a taste of the World Forum on Early Care and Education at the "World Forum Seminar: Promoting Multi-Cultural Understanding."  Radmilla Rangelov-Jusovic from Bosnia and Olivia Gonzalez Campos from Mexico will make featured presentations. Plus we will discuss future plans for the World Forum. 

Saturday, November 8

* 8:30 to 10:30 am: Bonnie and Roger Neugebauer presented with the annual  "CEASE Peace Award" at Diane Levin's presentation on "Teaching Young Children in Violent Times."

* 2:30 to 3:30 pm: Jim Greenman presents on "Designing Early Care and Education Facilities."
