Share Stories, Build Community, Change the World

We are story. All of us. What comes to matter then is the creation of the best possible story we can while we’re here; you, me, us, together.
Richard Wagamese

Entering a new year offers all of us the chance to renew our commitment to the nurturing power of sharing our ideas and stories with one another. Since 1978, Exchange Press has promoted the exchange of ideas among leaders in early childhood programs worldwide. Connecting through our similarities and differences, whether we come to agree or not, fuels reflection, growth and renewal.

For many of us at Exchange Press, the World Forum on Early Care and Education offers one grand opportunity to share and connect. This May, you can join this inspiring global community, in person in Orlando, Florida, or virtually from wherever you may be. Our Exchange Press family, including Exchange magazine Editor-in-Chief Sara Gilliam, will be there and would love to connect with you!

Ojibway poet and author Richard Wagamese continues the quote above: “When we take the time to share those stories with each other, we get bigger inside, we see each other, we recognize our kinship – we change the world, one story at a time…”
