Change. This one word can strike fear in the heart of the most fearless of people and teams. People will say that they are flexible and fine with change, but the truth is that most of us find it incredibly difficult to rethink what we do and how we behave. We are often naturally defensive and find it hard to hear, and understand, that what we are doing could be done differently.Creating a culture where people feel safe and have trust in their leaders is an essential element of growth. Embracing change can be challenging; however, when teams actively seek change and are truly flexible they find it rewarding and empowering. The ongoing positive outcomes for children and families are what continue to promote a culture where change is welcomed.
Change management has been a buzzword for people in leadership roles. We do not believe that managing change is a possibility without a team that trusts in their leader and the process.
