Your Feedback on ECE Curriculum Models

YOUR FEEDBACK ON ECE CURRICULUM MODELS

At the 2003 World Forum on Early Care and Education in Acapulco, Mexico, Diane Dodge organized a series of sessions comparing early childhood curriculum models.  These sessions were heavily attended and well received.  We have asked Ms Dodge to follow up this project by coordinating an article on curriculum tools for the January 2004 issue of Child Care Information Exchange.  In this article we would like to include quotes and ideas from all over the world on how directors go about selecting a curriculum.  We invite you to share your thoughts by responding to the following questions:

1. Do you use a particular curriculum in your program?

2. What distinguishes your curriculum from other choices?

3. How do you help teachers to learn about and implement your curriculum?

Please send your ideas to Diane Trister Dodge at [email protected].   Be sure to include complete information about name, your organization, and your location.
